(Dacula, Georgia / Lawrenceville, Georgia) Gwinnett Police need the public’s help in identifying local gym thieves.  On January 14 a black male obtained the victim’s keys while wandering around Gold’s Gym located at 1250 Auburn Road in unincorporated Dacula.  The suspect enters the victim’s vehicle and ultimately steals at least two credit cards.  The stolen cards were later used by another suspect at a Target in Atlanta to attempt to purchase an Apple product for over $1000.

On January 17 a black male steals the victim’s wallet from his locker at Gold’s Gym located at 860 Duluth Highway in unincorporated Lawrenceville.  The suspect later uses the stolen credit cards from the wallet to purchase over $1000 at the Target across the street and at another Target in Peachtree Corners.  Both purchases were for Apple products.

Detectives believe these incidents/suspects are connected due to the similarity in the thefts and fraudulent purchases.
