UPDATE: SHOOTING AT A SHELL GAS STATION LEAVES ONE MALE DEAD

Update 2:  (Lawrenceville, Ga., April 27, 2023) The Gwinnett County Police Department identified Keonte Anderson (29-year-old male from Peachtree Corners, Ga) and Jonas Albright-Gillis (28-year-old male from Doraville, Ga) as suspects in this homicide.

During the investigation, detectives learned that the Audi SUV involved in the shooting had traveled to Illinois after the incident. Anderson and Albright-Gillis were occupants of the Audi. Calumet City Police Department was notified, and hours later, a traffic stop was conducted, and Anderson and Albright-Gillis were arrested. They are held at the Cook County Detention Center, awaiting extradition back to Gwinnett County.

Anderson is charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of Certain Felonies. Albright-Gillis is charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a firearm during the Commission of Certain Felonies, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Update 1: (Norcross, Ga., April 24, 2023) – The Gwinnett County Police have identified the victim as Marcus Bush (39-year-old male from Covington).

Bush is seen having a verbal dispute with multiple males. It is unknown what the argument or verbal altercation was about. However, it appears to be an isolated incident, the investigation is still ongoing, and detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward. 

 
Original: (Norcross, Ga., April 23, 2023) - The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one adult male deceased.
 
Shortly after 12:40 P.M., officers responded to a “person shot call” at the Shell Gas Station on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers located a male deceased on the ground in the back of the gas station with gunshot wounds.
 
At this time, very little is known about the victim and what took place. However, an altercation at the gas pumps appeared to have happened, resulting in a shoot-out, leaving the victim deceased. The investigation is ongoing. Homicide detectives are urging anyone who has information to come forward.
