Paratransit Service Overview
Gwinnett County’s Paratransit Service operates Monday through Saturday in line with the hours of the local fixed-route bus service. To ensure that complementary paratransit drivers can complete their drop-offs no later than the latest fixed route drop-off (Weekday vs Saturday times vary), some of the latest-available return-trip pickup times may vary to reflect the travel times for requested trips.
The Paratransit Service operates within a 3/4-mile area surrounding the existing local bus routes (map link above) focused on providing curb-to-curb service to persons with disabilities who are unable to access and/or independently travel on Ride Gwinnett’s local fixed-route buses. A rider must be certified paratransit eligible through Ride Gwinnett’s Paratransit Department to use this service. To apply, please refer to the ADA Paratransit Application section below or contact our Customer Service Office at 770.822.5010 for assistance.
