Changes are coming to Ride Gwinnett’s fare system! On April 1, Ride Gwinnett customers will be able to pay their fare using their debit or credit card. Existing Breeze cards must be upgraded to the new Breeze card by May 1. Breeze Mobile 2.0 users must upgrade to the new Breeze Mobile app coming this summer. Learn More

How to Pay Your Fare on Ride Gwinnett

There are several ways to pay your fare on Ride Gwinnett:

Breeze Cards and Passes
  • Purchase and load your Breeze Card by visiting our Customer Service Office at 3525 Mall Boulevard, Suite 5C, Duluth.
  • Breeze Cards can be also purchased and loaded at BreezeCard.com or at any ticket vending machine at MARTA stations.
Breeze Mobile

Pay with your smartphone using the Breeze Mobile App

Tap to Pay

  • Beginning in April 2026, Ride Gwinnett customers can tap their debit card, credit card, or mobile wallet to pay their fare.

Cash

  • Use the farebox to pay with exact change upon boarding. Please note that vehicle operators are not able to make change for riders. No transfers are available when using a cash fare.
Ride Gwinnett App
  • Microtransit riders booking their travel with the Ride Gwinnett app can pay their fare using linked debit or credit card in the app.

Order Passes and Tickets

  • Passes and tickets for local, half-fare, and paratransit services can be purchased in-person at our Customer Service office: 3525 Mall Boulevard, Suite 5-C, Duluth..  Passes and Tickets are non-refundable and all sales are fina

Transfer Rules within Ride Gwinnett

  • Riders who pay their fare with a Breeze Card, the Breeze Mobile app, or by tapping their debit card, credit card, or mobile wallet receive free transfers within 1.5 hours from the start of a trip, for up to three transfers, where the current route is different from the last route, and between like services.
  • Please note that upcharges apply when transferring to a higher-fare service, such as microtransit.

Transfers to/from MARTA

  • Free transfers between Ride Gwinnett and MARTA require the use of a Breeze Card loaded with Ride Gwinnett fare or stored value. A trip that starts on MARTA would need either a MARTA fare product or stored value loaded on the card to start the trip. Cash patrons cannot receive a free transfer to/from MARTA.

Transfer Rules within Ride Gwinnett

Riders who pay their fare with a Breeze Card or the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app receive free transfers within 1.5 hours from the start of a trip, for up to three transfers, where the current route is different from the last route, and between like services.
