Looking for meaningful part-time work? Join our team of compassionate, reliable individuals this winter season.

The County offers five warming stations for residents to receive temporary, overnight relief from long-term exposure to frigid temperatures. These stations are activated when temperatures fall to 35 degrees Fahrenheit or below, providing residents with a meal and a warm place to rest.

When activated, Warming Station Attendants help welcome guests, provide a supportive environment, and ensure residents are warm and safe overnight. Essential duties include setting up, organizing and cleaning up, keeping attendance logs and documentation, and recording and submitting reports to supervisors. Although warming stations operate from 6:00pm to 7:00am, attendants’ shifts run from 5:30pm to 7:00am.

To qualify, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Hourly pay is $18 for this seasonal position. Learn more and apply today.
