Remote inspection web app now available

The County is streamlining how select residential and commercial building types will submit remote inspections. The Remote Inspection Web App — an extension of the ZIP Portal — will enhance the current process of emailing photographs to inspectors and introduce an easier, faster, and more accurate way to submit required documentation.

Designed specifically to support contractors working in the field, the modernized workflow of the web app will allow them to:

  • Upload photos and required details directly to the correct permit record
  • Submit inspection documentation from any smartphone or tablet
  • Receive faster routing and processing of remote inspection requests
  • Avoid email submissions

Note: Email submissions are no longer accepted. To learn how to use the Remote Inspection Web App, review the step-by-step guide.
