Gwinnett Transportation will partner with the Georgia De­partment of Transportation for upcoming improvements to the intersection of Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Buford Highway. The County’s $2.2 million contribution to the construction cost will come from Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax funds, as well as the cities of Peachtree Corners and Norcross.

Construction on the project is expected to begin by the end of 2024.
