February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

One in three U.S. teens will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse from someone they're in a relationship with before they become adults. The Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office wants to help raise awareness of this issue and provide resources to help teens identify dating violence and foster healthy relationships.
February marks Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, a time dedicated to highlighting the impact of dating violence on teens and promoting safe, healthy relationships. This month focuses on educating the community about warning signs and offering tools to prevent dating violence.
Parents, teens, and community members are invited to the following events designed to raise awareness and foster meaningful conversations about healthy relationships:
Teen Summit 2025

Teen Dating Violence Informational Event
Date: Thursday, February 13
Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm
Location: Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center Atrium, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville
