Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson welcomed guests to the Historic Gwinnett Courthouse for the Third Annual Women Veterans Luncheon, a heartfelt gathering celebrating the contributions of women who’ve served in the United States Armed Forces.
This year’s theme, “Strength in Sisterhood: Advocacy, Leadership, Legacy,” focused on the bonds women veterans build through shared experiences and their continued service in communities across Gwinnett and beyond.
The luncheon brought together veterans from every branch of the military, along with active-duty service members, advocates, and local leaders. Attendees enjoyed lunch, conversation, and remarks from women veterans who are continuing to lead through advocacy, public service, and mentorship.
Chairwoman Hendrickson thanked the veterans in attendance for their bravery, resilience, and lasting contributions.
The event featured a panel of local women veterans who are making an impact beyond their military service — including leaders in education, public service, and those who have persevered through the loss of a spouse. Their journeys highlighted the strength of sisterhood and the importance of lifting fellow veterans through connection and support.
The annual luncheon has grown into a signature event in Gwinnett County, serving as both a celebration and a reminder of the importance of honoring all who serve - on and off the battlefield.
