Behind the rising statistics of opioid deaths are real people, families, and communities struggling to cope.

The Gwinnett County Opioid and Abatement Advisory Committee is inviting residents, health professionals, and local leaders to participate in one of two community town halls focused on opioid addiction and the services available to support those affected.

These sessions will give participants the opportunity to share their perspectives, challenges, and ideas related to prevention, treatment, and recovery resources currently available in Gwinnett County. Your experiences and stories will help shape community strategies to combat opioid misuse.

The town halls will take place on Tuesday, December 9 and Thursday, December 11 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Innovation Square, located at 446 West Crogan Street in Lawrenceville.

Interested participants can register for the town halls by visiting GwinnettCounty.com/OpioidTownHalls.
