2012 Budget Review Meetings
Budget review meetings typically take place near the end of Gwinnett County's annual budget planning cycle. During this step in the process, representatives from departments and agencies present business plans and proposed budgets to Board Chairman Charlotte Nash and the budget review team. Comprised of County staff as well as residents appointed by Nash, this team examines needs and recommends how resources should be allocated. Click the links at the bottom of this page to view the departmental business plan and budget presentations that were made in September 2011 for the 2012 budget preparation process.
Nash's proposed 2012 budget was presented to the Board of Commissioners and the public on November 15, 2011, followed by a public hearing that was held on December 13, 2011. The Board continued to collect public comments through the end of the year and adopted the balanced budget on January 3, 2012. Learn more about the 2012 budget.
The departmental business plan presentations were previously aired on TV Gwinnett, the County’s government access cable television channel, and are available on demand on this web page. Click the links below to watch the presentation videos or view the presentation materials.
