MAINTENANCE CLOSURES
- Graves Park – the Interactive Fountain is temporarily closed for mechanical service on May 17.
- All aquatic centers will be closed for maintenance May 20 – 27
- Simpsonwood Park – Due to a Department of Water Resource sewer pump station project, there will be increased construction traffic throughout the park. Please use caution. Call 678.376.7027 for more information
RENOVATION CLOSURES
- The restrooms at the following park locations will be closed for renovations beginning May 18 and will reopen upon completion. Port-a-lets will be available during renovations
- Best Friend Park
- Bay Creek Park (restrooms at baseball will be open during renovations)
- Duncan Creek Park (restrooms at football will be open during renovations)
- JB Williams Park
- Rhodes Jordan Park (restrooms at baseball, soccer & football will be open during renovations)
- Ronald Reagan Park
- Duncan Creek Park – the football field will be closed for renovations beginning May 16, and will reopen upon completion
- Holcomb Bridge Park – Contractors will be pouring concrete at the pavilion on May 5, and equipment will be moving from the parking area to the pavilion, please use caution
- Bethesda Park – Contractors will be pouring concrete at the large pavilion on May 6, the adjacent playground will be closed during this time and will reopen upon completion
- Rock Springs Park – The football field is closed for artificial turf installation and site improvements, and will reopen in the fall of 2022. Portions of the walking track around the field will be closed during renovations, please use caution
- Bethesda Park – The large pavilion near the lake is closed for renovation; the nearby playground may experience intermittent closures. Use caution in the area
- Holcomb Bridge Park – The pavilion is closed for renovation
- Peachtree Ridge Park – The paved trail leading to the dam is closed until further notice due to a Lake Luella dam construction project
- Yellow River Post Office Site – The site is now open, exhibits and interpretation of the buildings are coming soon
