County offers glass recycling program
The glass recycling program provides residents with the opportunity to drop off glass for safe and sustainable recycling.
Residents can bring clean, empty glass containers for recycling to any of the three locations:

Making a difference is free and easy! Your recycling adds up. Act today for tomorrow and request a free 65-gallon recycling cart. Due to the successful response to our 65-gallon recycling container program, additional time may be required for cart delivery.
Request a free 65-gallon recycling cart or report a damaged recycling cart through our online recycling cart form or call Solid Waste Management at 770.822.7141.
View the list of acceptable items. Please continue to recycle and place your cart at the curb for collection on your service day.
Helpful Tips
Gwinnett County and our contracted residential solid waste haulers are committed to providing safe and quality service.
You can help by:
- Bagging trash;
- Not bagging recycling and removing food and liquid residue;
- Recycling only plastic bottles and jugs, paper, cardboard, cartons, and metal cans;
- Emptying liquids from containers; and
- Disinfecting container handles and lids.
