To report a service disruption, leak, or break not shown below, call our 24-hour emergency dispatch line at 678.376.7000. Please make sure to note the street address and cross street or intersection.
We work to respond to emergencies as quickly as possible and we try very hard to maintain a 24-hour response time to restore our customers back to service—even on holidays and weekends. In 2017, DWR averaged less than four hours to complete repairs and restore water flow, which is well below the national average for water utilities. However, repairs are addressed by order of priority and there may be more than one main leaking at any given time. We also try to schedule work in advance when possible to minimize disruption to residents and businesses.
Not sure if there’s an issue?

Water Outages and Alerts
Water Outages (Unplanned)
Unplanned outages occur when we need to shut off water service to complete emergency repairs, such as for a broken pipe or hydrant. These repairs must be completed quickly to restore the flow of water to our customers, avoid water loss, and reduce property impacts.
Water Outages (Planned)
We perform regular, planned maintenance projects to prevent the need for unscheduled emergency repairs. It is often necessary to turn off the water in an area around these maintenance efforts to perform the work. These outages are scheduled and communicated with homeowners ahead of time to reduce the inconvenience associated with an unexpected disruption of service.
