The Swift Water Rescue Team (SRT) responds to emergencies involving rivers, streams, and other surface waters. Rescue methods vary based on water conditions and access points. The team performs in-water rescues using ropes, rescue boards, and specialized watercraft. Because swift water is extremely dangerous, operations require highly trained personnel and may involve additional resources such as aviation units.
