Hundreds of Peachtree Corners residents attended a town hall to discuss the idea of forming a Peachtree Corners Police Department, separate from the law enforcement services currently provided by the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Chief J.D. McClure and his command staff presented the pros and cons of the proposal and spent more than an hour answering residents’ questions. Most attendees expressed support for continuing to rely on Gwinnett County Police as the city’s primary law enforcement agency. The video and PowerPoint below show the full meeting.
