Qualifying for Local Office
Qualifying for political party candidates, independent candidates, and nonpartisan candidates will begin Monday, March 7, 2022 at 9:00am and will end on Friday, March 11, 2022 at noon.
A second qualifying period for independent candidates will begin at 9:00am on Monday, June 27, 2022 and will end on Friday, July 12, 2022 at noon.
Those who wish to qualify as a party candidate for Gwinnett County offices must do so with the Gwinnett County Democratic Party or the Gwinnett County Republican Party. For information regarding locations for qualifying, please use the following email addresses:

Those who wish to qualify to be candidates in the Nonpartisan General Election will qualify at the Gwinnett Voter Registrations & Elections Beauty P. Baldwin building located at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, Lawrenceville, 30046.

2022 Candidate Qualifying Fees
Fees are paid to the organization with whom the candidate qualifies. Qualifying fees have been set as follows:
