SUSPECTS CHARGED IN LENORA PARK HOMICIDE FROM JUNE 2023

UPDATE #2: (Snellville, Ga., Jan. 2, 2024) – The lead investigator assigned to the case has charged two suspects in the murder of Brian Arnold-Causey.

Anwar Brenard Singleton (age 18, Loganville) has been charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of Certain Felonies. He was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on October 28, 2023.

Prince James (age 19, Snellville) has been charged with Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of Certain Felonies. James is currently not in custody, and his whereabouts are unknown.

UPDATE #1: (Snellville, Ga., Jun 19, 2023) – The decedent has been identified as Brian Arnold-Causey (age 19, Snellville).

ORIGINAL: (Snellville, Ga., Jun 16, 2023) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one adult male deceased.

Shortly after 10:30 P.M., officers responded to a “medical assistance” call at Gwinnett County Fire Station 6 (3890 Johnson Drive, Snellville). A medical unit was requested at the fire station for a male suffering from gunshot wounds. An unknown person dropped the victim off at the fire station, telling fire personnel that the victim had been shot. The unknown individual left after dropping off the victim, who later died due to his injuries.  

At this time, very little is known about the victim and what took place. The investigation is ongoing. The Crime Scene Unit is collecting evidence, and detectives are trying to gather information. The victim’s name is being withheld until the next of kin can be notified.
