DETECTIVES IDENTIFY RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY SUSPECTS
(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 31, 2024) – Gwinnett County Police detectives have charged three suspects in a residential burglary.
On May 3, the victim reported that her house had been burglarized while she was out of town for a few days. While she was gone, four suspects came to the victim’s house with a U-Haul truck. They entered the house and took furniture, shoes, a PlayStation 5 and 2008 Toyota Solara. The Solara has not been recovered.
Detectives have charged Derrick Martin (38, Ellenwood), Marion King (24, Stockbridge), and Jhaniah Lanier (24, Lithonia) with burglary in the first degree and theft by taking motor vehicle. There is an additional unidentified female suspect in this case. The suspects have possibly committed similar burglaries in Dunwoody and Dekalb. The suspects are not in custody and their whereabouts are unknown.
A black BMW and a white Chrysler 300 may also be involved. The vehicles were captured on several Flock cameras traveling in tandem near other burglary locations.
