GWINNETT COUNTY EARNS NATIONAL HONORS FOR COMMUNICATIONS EXCELLENCE
(Lawrenceville, Ga., Nov. 19, 2025) – Gwinnett County Government is celebrating multiple national awards after earning top recognition from both the Davey Awards and the w3 Awards for outstanding media relations, digital storytelling and creative public-sector communication.
During 21st Annual Davey Awards, the County earned two Gold Awards for “Go Gwinnett: Chairwoman Hendrickson at Lookup Flight Academy” and the “Upfront Gwinnett: The Hidden Homeless”tease. Both pieces were honored for their compelling storytelling and strong impact in elevating key County initiatives.
The County also received two Silver Davey Awards for the campaign, “Day in the Life (Build Your Careers)” and the Gwinnett County Fire Recruitment Ad. These projects were recognized for their high-quality production, narrative style and ability to connect meaningfully with residents and prospective employees.
Adding to the celebration, Gwinnett earned one Gold and one Silver recognition at the 2025 w3 Awards. The State of the County Address received a Gold Award for its strong visual execution and clear, accessible messaging. The Love-A-Mutt Wedding content earned a Silver Award, recognized for its creativity and community engagement.
