Robbery Investigation

(Stone Mountain, Georgia) Gwinnett County Police are actively seeking public assistance in a robbery that took place at Murphy USA gas station where approximately 70 cartons of cigarettes were stolen. The cigarettes estimated value was $4,000. On January 13, 2016, at 9pm, two suspects walked into an exterior storage room where an employee was taking cigarette inventory. One of the suspects pushed the victim into the corner of the room and told her not to look at him. He was 5’9” with freckles.

Both suspects began loading cigarettes into plastic bags. During the robbery, the suspects told the victim they would kill her if she looked at them. The suspects loaded the plastic bags into a black Dodge Dart. The vehicle displayed Georgia tag, PHZ1835 which returned to a stolen vehicle. Before fleeing the scene, the victim was told to stay in the storage room for ten minutes before coming out.
