(Lawrenceville, Georgia) Gwinnett Police have charged five persons in connection with the murder at Lake Sweetwater Apartments. The suspects were detained shortly after they fled the scene at 3100 Sweetwater Road following the shooting. All five were taken to Gwinnett Police Headquarters where they were interviewed.  These interviews yielded information to warrant charging 2 with murder and all five with a drug violation. All five are currently in the Gwinnett County Detention Center with No Bond.The investigation is still on-going.

Police detectives learned that all five suspects went to meet with the deceased to sell a quantity of marijuana. Upon meeting with him, he produced a handgun and attempted to rob them of the marijuana. One of the suspects produced a handgun and fired. The rounds struck him and he succumbed to the wounds. Next of kin has not been notified as of this release. Case Number(s):  16-077510, 16-077582

Terrell McCallum    23 yoa -  Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijua, Failure to Appear.
