Another Missing Woman Tied to Wanted Caretaker

(Lilburn, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating another missing elderly woman tied to a wanted caretaker. Earlier this month, a South Precinct officer spoke with the daughter of Linda Williams.  The daughter said that she hasn’t spoken with her mother since sometime in December 2019.  She had not physically seen her mother since October 2019.  When the daughter questioned the caretaker, Kishia Mitchell (age 50), she was told that Linda Williams was transferred to Adult Protective Services (APS).  APS has no record of Ms. Williams in their database.

Kishia Mitchell has ties to another active missing person case involving Linda Kimble (age 59).  Ms. Kimble has yet to be found.

Both women are listed as missing on Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC).  It is imperative that Linda Williams and Linda Kimble are located so we can make sure their physical and medical needs are being met.

Kishia Mitchell had previously been charged with two counts of Exploitation of a Disabled or Elder Person (OCGA 16-5-102) and two counts of Unlicensed Personal Care Home (OCGA 31-7-12.1).  She also has an active warrant for Probation Violation.

If anyone has any information to share in this case, please contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300. To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.stopcrimeATL.com.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case Numbers:  20-013604 (Williams) & 19-091913 (Kimble)
