(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 4, 2023) – Gwinnett County’s District 1 Commissioner Kirkland Carden is hosting his second annual State of the District town hall meeting.  

The town hall will take place Monday, May 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the Peachtree Corners City Hall.

District 1 includes the cities of Berkeley Lake, Duluth, Norcross, Peachtree Corner and portions of Suwanee and Lawrenceville.

Carden said he will discuss priorities, initiatives and projects specific to District 1 and answer questions from the audience.

“Providing a bridge of communication to allow for questions and feedback from residents is a vital part of my job,” said Carden. “Their voice and concerns need to be heard and need to be addressed.”

The Peachtree Corners City Hall is located at 310 Technology Parkway in Peachtree Corners.

Residents are encouraged to stay until the end for an opportunity to ask questions.
