The Georgia Department of Transportation on April 17 sent out this advisory about lane closures on State Road 317 (Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road) from April 17 through April 22.

Resurfacing project begins on State Route 317
Resurfacing on State Route 317 will mean single lane closures during the evening hours between Interstate 85 and State Route 13 (Buford Hwy). 

Crews will begin work at 7:00pm and remain overnight until 6:00am Monday through Sunday.

This project length is 2.245 miles of resurfacing on State Route 317.  It was awarded to C.W. Matthews Contracting Co. Inc. in August 2017 . The current scheduled completion is July, 31 2018.
