Campaign Contribution Disclosure Reports

Candidates seeking elected office in Georgia must file periodic campaign contribution disclosure reports.

Due to the passage of SB 17, starting January 10, 2011, all Ethics filings will be submitted to the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission (formerly the State Ethics Commission). Their website is www.ethics.ga.gov.

  • Persons elected to office in each year following the year in which the election occurs.
  • Persons leaving office, or unsuccessful candidates with excess funds until such contributions are expended as provided in the Act.
  • Unsuccessful candidates, who receive contributions to retire debt incurred, until such unpaid debts are satisfied (Dec. 31st filing Only)
