Reporting an Emergency

To report a fire or medical emergency that is in progress, please the Gwinnett County Emergency Dispatch Center by dialing 911. To report a non-emergency situation, please call 770.513.5700. If you have an emergency and you are calling from outside Gwinnett County, please call 770.513.5911.

Obtaining a Fire Report Copy

To obtain a copy of a fire report, please call the Fire Administration Office at 678.518.4800. Be prepared to provide the date and time of the incident, person(s) name, and type of incident.

Open Records Requests

Open Records Requests should be directed to Melissa Clay (Office Services Coordinator) in the Fire Chief's Office. To contact Melissa, please call 678.518.4801 or e-mail melissa.clay@gwinnettcounty.com.

Environmental Open Records Requests should be directed to Misti Holbrook in the CRR-Fire Marshal's Office. You may contact Misti by calling 678.518.4980 or e-mail misti.holbrook@gwinnettcounty.com. The requests are from contractors for haz-mat and environmental matters only.

Media Reporters and Assignment Desk Editors

All reporters and assignment desk editors are urged to contact the Fire-PIO when seeking breaking news or incident information. The Fire-PIO is in the office Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm and is available both to the media and for emergency response after hours 24/7. To reach the Fire-PIO please use the following:
