Adjustments & Appeals

The Board of Construction Adjustments and Appeals (BCAA) consists of eight (8) members representing the heating and air conditioning, electrical, building, plumbing, architectural, civil engineering, and fire protection engineering trades. The members are appointed by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners and serve two year terms. The Gwinnett County Board of Construction Adjustments and Appeals generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Building, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Private sector firms that request consideration as a Gwinnett County approved Geotechnical Testing Firm or as a Gwinnett County approved Third Party Inspector/Engineer must submit qualifying documentation and provide representation at a scheduled meeting of the Gwinnett County Board of Construction Adjustments and Appeals (BCAA) for a formal decision on the request.
