Armed Robbery - Fast Food Restaurant

(Peachtree Corners, Georgia) Gwinnett County Police Detectives need the public’s help in identifying an armed robber.  On Sunday, February 18 officers from the West Precinct responded to 7050 Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Peachtree Corners in reference to a robbery that just occurred.  The call came in shortly before 10:00pm.  When officers arrived they met with the employees/victims who told them that a black male came in, brandished a handgun, and demanded money.  The robber ultimately got away with approximately $400 in cash.

Surveillance of the robbery was obtained and the suspect is a black male, wearing a camouflage bandana around his face, black skullcap, blue hoodie with distinctive white emblem, blue pants, black gloves, and dark shoes.  He was described as being approximately 6’ tall and weighing between 160-175 pounds.  The suspect is seen entering the restaurant and immediately producing a silver handgun.  He tells the employees to “shut-up” numerous times and then tells them to “get in the back.”  As they are complying he says “it ain’t your money, it’s the cracker’s money.”  He also tells them “I ain’t gonna hurt you” several times.  He remains calm during the encounter and even refers to one of the employees as “Auntie.”  He can be seen leading them to the back and then back to the front counter.  He demands the employee open the cash register and give him the money.  A customer pulls to the drive-thru and he says that he thinks the customer is possibly calling the police.  He tells the employee not to just shove the money in the bag out in the open while the customer is there.  Once the money is placed in the bag he walks out and leaves the area running.
