Driver & Vehicle Sought in Hit and Run

(Lilburn, Georgia)  On March 31 2018, GCPD officers responded to the area of Dickens Road at Pepperwood Trail in reference to a vehicle accident with injuries involving a motorcycle.  Upon arrival, the motorcyclist had sustained serious and life threatening injuries and was unconscious.  No other vehicles were located on scene. During the investigation, multiple pieces of a tail light and window glass were located near the motorcycle.

After analyzing the tail light, it was determined to be from a 2009-2015 Honda Pilot (unknown color).  This Honda will be missing the driver side tail light and will have either a broken rear windshield or broken rear quarter window.

The lead detective assigned to this case needs the public’s help in locating the driver and his/her vehicle.  It’s possible that a local mechanic may have had some interaction with the driver and/or vehicle.  We urge anyone with information about this case to come forward.  Please contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case Number:  18-029566

The updated condition on the motorcycle driver is unknown.
