Family Dollar Armed Robbery

(Norcross, Georgia)  Gwinnett County Police are searching for a man who robbed a Family Dollar store last month using a knife. The incident happened at 7050 Jimmy Carter Blvd on November 11, 2016, around 9:30 p.m. As two of the employees were preparing to close the store, the suspect burst out of the restroom with a knife and commanded them to get on the ground. He then escorted them to the front of the store where he made one of the employees open the stores safe. The suspect ultimately fled the scene with over $2,500 in cash.

On November 09, 2016, a male with the same build and wearing the same clothes entered the store and inquired about closing time. The employees believe that the suspect who robbed the store on November 11th was the same person who inquired about closing time on November 9th. The following photos are from both dates and appear to be the same person. The suspect is a black male wearing a gray jacket with a red bandana.
