UPDATE: Gun Store Smash and Grab Video Surveillance

Gwinnett County Police have obtained video surveillance of the smash and grab that happened yesterday morning. At this point, the owners believe that thirty four firearms were taken including rifles and pistols. This equates to thousands of dollars of stolen inventory and damage to the store. Detectives are working to identify the suspects seen in the video surveillance and working to locate the vehicle that was used. The following drop box link provides access to the video surveillance.

August 21, 2016: Gwinnett Police responded to a burglary at Dead Center Gun Indoor Range this morning. At 5:15 this morning, an alarm was received from the business at 1759 Buford Highway in Buford. Officers were dispatched and upon their arrival, they observed a heavily damaged front wall with a large hole leading into the business. Further investigation revealed that several rifles and pistols were taken. Officers reviewed security video and discovered that a full sized grey Dodge pick-up with a hard shell camper top was used to smash through the wall/window. The suspects then entered into the retail area and took the weapons. The Dodge pick-up was observed leaving the front parking lot and driving north on Buford Highway.
