Original, 01/14/2018: (Norcross, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is actively investigating a homicide which occurred at 2232 Rockbridge Court in unincorporated Norcross, Rockbridge Court Apartments. On January 14, at 01:26 pm, GCPD officers were dispatched to a person shot call inside an apartment at 2232 Rockbridge Court. GCPD officers arrived within minutes and located one male victim who had been shot multiple times. Gwinnett County Fire Department responded as well and the male victim was determined to be dead at the scene. Members of the Criminal Investigations Division Homicide Unit responded for follow-up investigation.

A second male occupant was in the apartment at the time of the incident and fled the apartment through a window. That male contacted GCPD a short time later and he is not considered a suspect at this time. The victim is only being identified as a 42-year old male.

Homicide investigators are actively investigating the incident and further information will be forthcoming when available.
