Missing Person - Yun Seoung Park - Body Found

Update #1: (Lawrenceville, Georgia) On Wednesday, January 3, a vehicle was located by a fisherman in the lake at Tribble Mill Park (2125 Tribble Mill Parkway, unincorporated Lawrenceville).  Officers and Detectives responded and it was determined that the vehicle found in the lake belonged to Mr. Park.  The vehicle was recovered from the lake shortly thereafter.  Immediately after his vehicle was located, officers began a ground search and a Gwinnett Police helicopter was called in to conduct an air search.  (The license plate on the car was removed by officers, and the damage to the vehicle occurred during recovery.)

On Friday, January 5, the Hall County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team and Rangers from the Department of Natural Resources searched the lake at Tribble Mill Park and a body was found.  The body was recovered from within the water in close proximity to where the vehicle was recovered.  Although we believe it to be the body of Mr. Park, we are waiting on confirmation from the Medical Examiner’s Office.  The cause of death will have to be determined by the Medical Examiner.  The family has been notified of our findings.

There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
