76 Year Old Man Punched At Kroger After Confronting Fire Lane Violator

(Dacula, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect that punched a 76 year old male at a Kroger in Dacula on January 23rd

The altercation began after the victim confronted the male suspect about parking in the fire lane of the business.  The victim told the suspect that he wasn’t allowed to park there.  When the victim entered the business, the suspect followed him and punched the victim in the back of the head.

Surveillance from the incident revealed that the victim didn’t see the suspect walk up behind him until right before he was struck.  The victim is recovering from the injuries he received.  Detectives have been following up on the case and are releasing the video in hopes of someone identifying the suspect.
