Suspects Seen on Camera Stealing Packages

(Grayson & Lawrenceville, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department General Crimes Unit needs the public’s help in identifying the suspects in two recent front porch package thefts. 

On Monday, November 26, an unknown man is seen stealing a package from a home on Water Willow Drive in Grayson.  Based on surveillance footage, the suspect may be driving an older model red passenger car.  (18-109979)

  • Male, unknown race, thin build, grey hoodie, dark pants, black hat

On Monday, December 10, two female suspects approached a home on Great Shoals Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville.  The women (one was pregnant, and the other was holding a small child) casually walked up, stole the package, and walked away.  (18-114643)

  • Female, Hispanic or light-skinned black, 20s, long dark hair, light colored shirt, grey pants, possibly mother of child under age 3 
  • Female, Hispanic or light-skinned black, 20s, dark hair in messy bun, pregnant, pink or purple clothing 

TIPS to prevent package thefts:

  • Schedule the delivery to your place of employment
  • Schedule the delivery to a neighbor’s home who is usually home
  • Don’t schedule delivery when you are on vacation
  • Arrange for delayed delivery through USPS if you plan to be out-of-town
  • If given the option, schedule the drop-off location to be somewhere discreet
  • Arrange for your package to be delivered to a designated carrier location
