UPDATE: (Buford, Ga., September 27, 2021) – Greenville Police Department in South Carolina  have arrested Michael Wilkerson (42 year old male from Greenville, SC) in the connection with Brittany Davis (32 year old female from Greenville, SC) death. Wilkerson was living in Lawrenceville, Ga at the time of his arrest and has been extradited to Greenville, SC.

A skull was located by Gwinnett Police in April of 2021 and turned over to the Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s Office. Gwinnett Police detectives assisted Greenville Police in positively identifying the remains as those of Brittany Davis a few months later through the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division. Davis had been living in Greenville and was reported missing to Greenville PD in March 2020 by her family.

The motive is still unknown and detectives are urging anyone that may have information to contact Greenville Police Department.

ORIGINAL: (Buford, Ga., May 6, 2021) – Gwinnett Police located a female human skull around the 2700 block of Hamilton Mill Rd on April 11, 2021.

Officers arrived on scene after being dispatched to a call for service call. As officers surveyed the scene they located in close proximity behind the woods a human skull. A forensic examination determined it to possibly be a Caucasian or mixed race female between the ages of 20-35 years old. 

The Gwinnett Police Homicide Unit is requesting information and are asking anyone who may be able to identify the female to call the police immediately.
