UPDATE #3: GCPD Still Seeking Tips in 2015 Double Homicide

Update #3, 02/15/2019: It’s been over four years since the double homicide at an apartment complex in unincorporated Lawrenceville, and the lead detective is still seeking tips to identify the person or persons responsible.

Shortly before 10 AM on Monday, February 9, 2015, officers assigned to the Central Precinct were dispatched to a “person shot” call at 1400 Herrington Road apartment #5302.  As they pulled up to the building, they met with a woman named Mrs. Hall-Porter.  She said that she received a phone call from an unknown person stating that her son had been shot.

When she arrived at apartment #5302, she pushed on the door.  Inside the apartment she found her son and another man deceased.  She immediately walked out and called 911.

After the detectives and crime scene personnel arrived at the home, they found that Kory Moss (age 22) and Stacy Hall (age 24) had died of gunshot wounds.

Immediately following the double homicide, detectives sought tips in the identities of the suspects responsible.  At the one-year anniversary on 2016, we again pushed for more tips in the case.  It’s been over four years, and no suspects have been charged in this crime.

We are hoping that someone knows something about this case and can help us identify the suspect(s) responsible.

The lead detective has identified a vehicle that the suspect(s) may be driving as a tan or gold Ford Five Hundred.  He also believes that the car was being driven by a white female though her identity is unknown.

In hopes of generating new tips in this case, the detective has authorized the release of the original 911 call made by Mrs. Hall-Porter.  The 911 audio, reports, and images can be found by clicking HERE
