(Norcross, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is actively investigating a homicide at 3279 Sunrise Village Lane Norcross, GA 30093 at the Ashford Jackson Creek Apartment complex. The Gwinnett County 911 center received a call around 3:45pm from a male stating his roommate had been shot and was deceased. Officers arrived shortly after and found a Hispanic male deceased from an apparent gunshot to the head .The Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded.

Investigators with the Homicide Unit are interviewing the roommate and neighbors to determine what may have taken place prior to the roommate arriving at home. The roommate and victim were the only residents of the apartment. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
