PELLET GUN SHOOTING SENDS ONE MAN TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION

(Buford, Ga., January 10, 2022) – The Gwinnett Police Department is working to identify a person who shot a pellet gun, striking Sean Blair (30-year-old male from Buford) in the neck.On January 02, 2022, Gwinnett Police responded to a person shot call on Kilgore and Cross Rd. Upon arrival, they met with Blair, who was bleeding from the right side of his neck. Blair said an airsoft pellet hit him in the neck. Blair was driving with his windows down when the pellet traveled through his passenger window and hit him.

Additionally, on the same day, officers responded to several property damage calls where additional victims reported being shot by what is believed to be a pellet gun. All victims appeared to be driving on Kilgore Rd. Damage to all victims' vehicles is consistent with those hit by pellet rounds.
