WHAT: The 35-foot Norway Spruce that has been selected for Gwinnett County’s 33rd Annual “Virtual” Lighting of the Tree will be coming from the mountains of North Carolina to Georgia Monday, Nov. 2. The tree will be installed on the lawn of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse Tuesday, Nov. 3 for County staff to begin decorating it for the Lighting of the Tree ceremony, which will be pre-recorded and previewed on the County’s social media channels, website and TV Gwinnett on Thanksgiving Day. The tree will be on display to the public throughout the holiday season.
