GWINNNETT OFFICIALS CELEBRATE RIBBON CUTTING AND DEDICATION FOR VOTER REGISTRATIONS AND ELECTIONS BUILDING RENOVATION

WHAT:  Gwinnett County officials will dedicate the renovated Voter Registrations and Elections Office in Lawrenceville and name the facility in honor of Gwinnett County Trailblazer and Voter Registrations and Elections Board Member Beauty P. Baldwin.

The renovated facility provides improved circulation and defined areas for voter registration, waiting and voting.

Beauty P. Baldwin is a longtime educator and respected civic and community leader. She has been a member of the Board of Voter Registrations and Elections since 1997, serving terms as chairman and vice chairman. She was honored as a Bicentennial Trailblazer at Gwinnett County’s 200th birthday celebration in 2018.

WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 4 p.m.

WHO:   Gwinnett County Department of Community Services Director Tina Fleming will emcee the event. Board of Commissioners Chairman Charlotte Nash, District 2 Commissioner Ben Ku, District 4 Commissioner Marlene Fosque, Voter Registrations and Elections Board Chairman John Mangano and Voter Registrations and Elections Board Member Beauty P. Baldwin will provide remarks.
