GWINNETT TO BREAK GROUND ON THE NEW SINGLETON PARK AND GREENWAY TRAILHEAD

WHAT:     Gwinnett officials will break ground on the new Singleton Park and Greenway trailhead. The project involves redeveloping the existing property into a vibrant park spanning almost 2 acres, enhancing access to a never-ending source of year-round gatherings and free play. This project is funded by Gwinnett’s 2017 SPLOST program, the American Rescue Plan Act, a Governor’s Office grant and a Community Development Block Grant.

WHEN:     Thursday, Mar. 28, 2 p.m.

WHO:       Department of Community Services Director Tina Fleming will emcee. Speakers include Gwinnett Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson and District 2 Commissioner Ben Ku.

WHERE:  Singleton Park, 5220 Singleton Road, Norcross.

Parking is only available at OneStop Norcross located at 5030 Georgia Belle Court in Norcross. A shuttle will be provided to take guests to the groundbreaking site.
